Who We Are
I'm a Registered Nurse with 32 years experience, my interest in the beauty industry started at the age of 13 when I suffered acne as a teenager. I tried every possible treatment I could to fix this debilitating skin problem, to then find that the acne bacteria is a precursor of teenage hormones.
Now later in life I became interested again after needing plastic surgery post breast cancer treatment. This set back in life inspired me again to realise that life is too short not to do the things you have always been passionate about.
My mission is to provide a thorough consultation, exceptional quality cosmetic skin rejuvenation and enhancing treatments to my valued clients. I feel having aesthetically appealing skin should not only be for the young, we are all living longer and working longer so everyone should have the same opportunity to look and feel good about themselves. I have been trained in all aspects of Cosmetic Nursing at the GrayClay Aesthetic School - Gold Coast.
Over the last 30 years I have developed my nursing skills in many facts of general nursing including surigcal ward, oncology nursing, medical ward, coronary care and wound care.
We use the most modern intense pulse light devices that provide the
latest in technology related skin enhancing techniques.
Services provided are as follows: Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) with targets the chromophores of the dermis by light, heat and destruction of any imperfections of the skin without damaging the surrounding epidermis. Perfect for clients who suffer from acne, pigmentation, freckles, sun spots, broken capillaries, rosacea, fine lines and wrinkles. The number of treatments required depend on the individual skin response and the desired outcome for the specific problem. Courses can vary between two to six treatments.
IPL Super Hair reduction is the latest breakthrough in permanent hair reduction. SHR is a more rapid and painless hair reduction compared to traditional IPL hair reduction devices. The melanin in the hair follicle is heated to destroy the hair bulb. Number and intervals of treatments depend on area to be treated for example legs can take an average of 6 treatments.
I also offer Ultrasonic body Fat reduction and radio Frequency skin tightening.
We also offer Collagen Induction Therapy that reduces scaring, fine lines and wrinkles.
